Young Thug arrested on “gang-related” activity after police raid his Atlanta Mansion

“Pushin’ P” rapper Young Thug was arrested last Tuesday and charged with “gang related activity” and other charges including “narcotics”.

On May 9th, police arrested the 30 year-old Atlanta rapper on RICO and 56 indictment charges including gang related and drug related charges after they raided his rented mansion in Atlanta, according to Fulton County Police reports.

The grand jury indictment labeled Young Thug’s record label, YSL, as a “criminal street gang”. Leading to 27 members of his record label to be charged with serious crimes including “murder and attempted robbery”. Among them is “Drip Too Hard” rapper Gunna who turned himself in to Fulton County police and was arrested.

According to Thugger's attorney, he has pleaded "not guilty" and has called for an emergency release on bond due to "dungeon-like" and "inhumane" conditions.

Rappers like Tekashi 69 have reacted to Young Thug’s arrest by trolling him on Instagram. “FEFE” rapper 6ix9ine posted a series of Instagram stories showing images of what appears to be Young Thug in red lipstick and crop tops. “Ok I’m done Na free sis, I mean bro.” 6ix9ine wrote.

Fans have also started to react as Young Thug was promoting a potential album release. Thugger saying in an Instagram post on April 19th, “These past few weeks gave me so much to talk bout.. y’all ready??” Fans have flooded this post, "Welp guys it looks like this album ain’t gonna drop anytime soon" Instagram user @t._nonchalant wrote.

Also, earlier this month, Young Thug started to promote his performance at the Hot97 FM Summer Jam on June 12, at MetLife Stadium. With this, fans are showing concern about if this, and other performance's will even happen in the future, considering the extent of his charges.
